The challenge: enhancing the packaging process
Storia sought ways to improve its packaging process and enhance competitiveness through automation. Ferroplan’s solution: A three-level conveyor
Ferroplan designed and implemented a three-level conveyor solution seamlessly integrated into Storia’s packaging process.
- The upper conveyors transport empty boxes directly to the packing stations from two box formers.
- The lower conveyor moves the packed boxes from the packing stations to the lid-sealing machine.
The conveyor system is fully integrated with box formers, the lid-sealing machine, address label printing and the system that controls the packaging process.

Ferroplan’s conveyor solution has significantly improved Storia’s operations. The system enables a smoother and more scalable process, allowing the company to handle up to 7,000 daily shipments, depending on the season.
